Authority staff collected information on land use, zoning, water quality, aquatic life and stream crossings for the whole watershed. Overall, there seems to be no negative human impacts on the water quality.

The creek drains portions of Oliver-Paipoonge Township before flowing into the Kam River near Stanley. Much of the watershed remains forested. There is some agricultural land and scattered residential use.

Watershed studies help to gather data which can be compared in the future to determine any deterioration in the environment. Potential issues can also be identified and addressed.
