Conservation Area |
| The shallow water and aquatic plants of Mission Island Marsh are essential for waterfowl and fish. Visitors can get an expansive view of the entire wetland from the viewing mound or walk along the boardwalk for a closer look at the colourful aquatic vegetation. Mission Island Marsh is a must for recreation walkers, nature enthusiasts, wildlife photographers, naturalists clubs and education groups. Please note that scuba diving, overnight camping and mooring are not permitted in the Conservation Area. |

![]() WATERFOWL VIEWING DAY Families enjoy learning about birds during Waterfowl Viewing Day, which is held in the fall and spring each year. Drop by to see migrating ducks, shorebirds, songbirds and raptors. We usually see over 30 species of birds.
