CHILD FALLS INTO NEEBING RIVER

A frightened mother pulled her soaked, but otherwise unharmed, child from the chilly waters of the Neebing River Saturday, according to a Thunder Bay Fire Service press release.

The child, not named in the release, was playing by the river with three friends when the two-year-old-fell into the water. Fire, police and ambulance services responded to the emergency. Ambulance attendants administered medical attention.
