Conservation Areas just keep getting better. There are new facilities and improved recreation to enjoy.

Silver Harbour CA now has a second boat launch ramp. The pavilions at Little Trout Bay and Hurkett Cove CA feature picnic tables. The work at Cascades CA is now complete. Two bridges over a creek, a paved trail loop, benches and landscape steps were installed in 2002.

Thank you to all funding partners.

Funding partners included the Great Lakes Heritage Coast Project of Ontario's Living Legacy, North Shore Steelhead Association, Municipality of Shuniah and Lakehead Conservation Foundation.
